Intellon Corporation Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering of Common Stock

Ocala, FL - July 12, 2007 - Intellon Corporation(www.intellon.com), a fabless semiconductor company that designs and sells integrated circuits for high-speed communications over existing electrical wiring, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The shares of common stock to be sold in the offering are expected to be offered by Intellon Corporation and certain of its stockholders.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. will act as sole book-running manager for the offering. Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. will act as joint lead manager and Jefferies & Company and Piper Jaffray & Co. will act as co-managers for the offering. The number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.
